THE VERTICAL GARDEN OF BARCELONA

In 2011, the Barcelona City Council commissioned the transformation of a featureless wall into a lush vertical garden for the public. And thus the Jardi Tarradellas was born. This illustration celebrates the effort to innovate the urban landscape into something that honours the natural world and invites the denizens of the city, be they human or feathered, into its green embrace.
